Mr. Xu Luode, Chairman of the SGE, was invited to give a keynote lecture about the development of the gold market and gold investment at the second “Shanghai Financial Forum”, organized by the Shanghai Municipal Office of Finance Service and Xinmin Evening News on May 23, 2014. Hosted by Ma Hong, the deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Office of Finance Service, the forum witnessed prestigious attendants including Chen Qiwei, the editor in chief of Xinmin Evening News and Hou Funing, President of the Shanghai Rural and Commercial Bank. Other participants included representatives from financial institutions and associations of Shanghai financial industry, officials from relative sectors of the local government, delegates from the youth federation of Shanghai, citizens as well as members of the press. Mr. Xu’s lecture successfully aroused the audience’s interest in the topic and was reciprocated by warm applauses.
