According to the Announcement of Trading Schedule during Public Holidays for Year 2023, SGE will close from December 31 (Saturday) to January 2 (Monday), and will open as usual from January 3 (Tuesday). There is no night session on December 30 (Friday).
During the New Year's Day holidays, margin rates and price limits of deferred contracts and performance-guarantee price asking contracts will remain unchanged. If a limit-lock market occurs on December 29 (Thursday), SGE will increase the margin rates and price limits of relevant contracts in accordance with the Measures for the Administration of Risk Control of the Shanghai Gold Exchange.
Members are requested to raise their awareness of risk prevention, make risk contingency plans, remind individual and institutional investors to be prudent in risk prevention, reasonably control positions, and ensure the stable and healthy operation of the market.
