From June 6 to 7, 2022, Shanghai Gold Exchange (hereinafter referred to as "SGE") was invited to participate in online session of Hybrid Asia Pacific Precious Metals Conference 2022 held in Singapore, and held the "Special Focus - China" forum. This conference discussed hot topics in the gold market under the theme of " Increasing accessibility and fungibility of precious metals". This year, the conference was held both online and offline, and nearly 500 representatives of Southeast Asia government organizations, financial institutions and gold industry joined the conference.

In the "Special Focus - China" forum, SGE introduced the development of China's gold market and SGE business in recent years, and specially share the details of initiatives such as “Shanghai Gold” benchmark price and its application and "Gold Road" project, and received sound market feedback.

For the next step, SGE will continue to strengthen market promotion and service innovation, improve the quality and efficiency of financial services, promote cooperation with Southeast Asia gold market in the post-pandemic era, and facilitate the development of economic and trade integration under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
