Recently, the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) Global Precious Metals Conference was held in Barcelona, Spain. Over 850 representatives from central banks, major global commodity exchanges, financial institutions, and gold production and consumption enterprises attended the conference. They conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as the development trends of the global precious metals market, product innovation, risk management, and the construction of responsible systems.

Mr. Yu Wenjian, Chairman of the Shanghai Gold Exchange, was invited to attend the conference and delivered speeches at both the opening ceremony and the "China Summit" session. In his speech at the opening ceremony, Chairman Yu emphasized that the Shanghai Gold Exchange, as a representative of China's gold market and an essential part of the global market, will continue to play a pivotal role in connecting domestic and international markets. Together with all parties, the Exchange seeks to deepen cooperation for mutual benefits, contributing wisdom and strength to promote the healthy development of the global precious metals market. During the "China Summit" session, Chairman Yu stated that the Shanghai Gold Exchange would persistently promote its "Market-oriented and Internationalization" strategy, adhere to the "Pioneering and Innovative" development direction, continuously strengthen international cooperation, expand its opening to the outside world, and push for the high-quality development of China's precious metals market and its integration with global markets.

During the conference, Chairman Yu also held talks with senior executives from LBMA, ICBC Standard, UOB, and Metalor, deeply discussing future cooperation opportunities.

The Delivery Storage and Transportation Department and the International Development Department of the Shanghai Gold Exchange accompanied the visit.
